The Maverick Arms Model 88 is a popular pump-action shotgun manufactured by the Mossberg company. The shotgun is a close copy of Mossberg's own Model 500, with the primary difference being that the Maverick 88 uses a crossbolt safety compared to the tang safety on the Mossberg. This shotgun is a Security model, with a shorter 20" fixed cylinder-bore barrel capable of accepting 3" shells. The magazine is able to hold up to 7 rounds of 12 gauge (2 ¾" shells) for an impressive and powerful 8-shot capacity. The shotgun wears black synthetic furniture and has a single brass front bead sight with a grooved/serrated receiver. The stock has a vented rubber buttpad installed from the factory. This shotgun appears to be in very lightly used condition and even has an original factory sticker on the stock still. The gun has little to no wear to speak of, but does not include a box or case.
