Maxim Defense Roller Delayed Blowback System Buffer 9mm Carbine

The Maxim Defense Roller Delayed Buffer System is a buffer-tube replacement designed for 9mm AR-pattern carbines. It converts a 9mm AR-style firearm to a roller-delayed blowback system, intended to reduce felt recoil and improve reliability by allowing gas pressure to stabilize before extraction.

The system is made of silver steel and is listed for the AR-15 platform in 9mm Luger. It is compatible only with 9mm AR-pattern rifles and carbines that have an open-channel 9mm bolt. For most 9mm bolts, the pinned-in central mass must be removed, while the bolt carrier group keeps its full length so the system functions correctly.
