Description
The Maxim Defense Roller Delayed Buffer System CQB is a buffer tube kit for 9mm AR-pattern firearms, including AR-15 and AR-9 platforms. It is designed to convert a 9mm AR-pattern firearm into a roller-delayed blowback system, delaying extraction until gas pressure has stabilized to reduce felt recoil and improve reliability.
The kit is made of steel with a silver finish and is intended for the 9mm Luger caliber only. It is not compatible with other calibers. Installation requires a 9mm bolt assembly with an open channel so the guide rod can function during firing, which typically means removing the pinned-in central mass while keeping the bolt carrier group at full length.
