Maxim Defense MD9 CQB 9mm 5.5" SBR 33-Round

Maxim Defense Industries MD9 CQB Features The Maxim Defense Industries MD9 CQB is built around a semi-automatic action chambered in 9mm with a 5.5 inch threaded barrel that keeps the overall footprint short without giving up the ability to run a suppressor or other muzzle device off the 1/2x28 thread pitch. The free-floating barrel is wrapped in Maxim s custom M-LOK handguard which creates a monolithic-like upper receiver platform so optics and accessories mount with a consistent rigid sight line. The PDW-style stock collapses the overall length to roughly 20 inches giving the MD9 CQB a profile that is easy to maneuver in vehicles hallways and other confined environments where a traditional carbine is unwieldy. An ambidextrous safety lets the shooter run the gun comfortably from either shoulder which matters in a CQB context where quick transitions are common. The MD9 CQB ships with a 33 round magazine giving the shooter a generous reserve of 9mm ammunition without needing an immediate reload. Maxim s RDB CQB buffer system manages recoil impulse in the shortened package helping the gun cycle reliably despite its compact length. The Cerakote finish over the black exterior adds corrosion resistance and a durable low-maintenance surface that holds up to repeated use and handling. Built on Maxim Defense s established AR9 architecture the MD9 CQB is a strong choice for operators and civilian shooters alike who want a reliable compact 9mm SBR for home defense or professional duty roles.
