Specifications
Description
The Mec-Gar Glock 19 magazine is a replacement detachable magazine for the Glock 19 pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. It holds 18 rounds and is intended as a higher-capacity option for Glock 19 owners.
The magazine body is steel with a black Anti-Friction Coating that the maker describes as easing loading and resisting corrosion. Its springs are high-tensile spring wire with reinforced coils and stiffening folds to add thrust. The base is either a fiber-filled nylon or heat-treated steel design intended to withstand drop and slap tests. Internal components are interlinked, and the tube is heat-treated.
Mec-Gar builds magazines for several firearm makers, and this model is listed as fitting the Glock 19 only.
