The press also has what is called a flip-top measure that features a unique draft tube that provides a larger clear area on the press top. This in turn reduces material wastage and ensures tighter tolerances are maintained on both resizing dies. The Mec Loader 410 012 features a rammer that is pre-formed with a long stroke for both high and low brass loading. Improvements to the press include bushings for lubricating the rammer zerk safety built in primer dispense and an extended stroke that accommodates sizing dies on some loaders.
