Description
The Meprolight FRBS M4D is a flip-up backup iron sight set for the AR-15 platform, intended as a secondary aiming option if an optic fails or is removed. The set mounts to the Picatinny rail and folds flat when not in use, staying out of the way until needed.
The front sight carries a Hyper-Bright orange tritium dot, and the rear sight uses a 4-dot green tritium pattern. Tritium illumination is designed to be visible in low light without washing out the sight picture. The construction combines metal, polymer and fiberglass components, and the sights can be adjusted without tools. The set is finished in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) desert tan.
Retailer listing indicates the set is also offered in black.
