Specifications
Description
The Mesa Tactical SureShell Side Saddle is a black, matte-finished aluminum shotshell holder that mounts to the receiver of a Remington 870 shotgun. It is built to carry six 12 gauge shells on the left side of the receiver, keeping extra ammunition within reach of the shooter.
The carrier is lightweight and uses an elastomer insert to hold the shells in place. The manufacturer notes that it is designed for shells that are replaced during use rather than long-term storage, since prolonged loading can deform the elastomer and reduce retention. Removing shells for a few hours allows the elastomer to recover its shape.
Per the listing, the holder fits the Remington 870, 1100 and 11-87 shotguns and attaches with a receiver mount.
