Specifications
Description
The Mesa Tactical SureShell is an aluminum shotshell holder that mounts to the left side of the receiver on Remington 870, 1100, and 11-87 12 gauge shotguns, giving quick access to a set of extra rounds. It is built around an elastomer retention insert that holds eight 12 gauge shells in place.
The carrier is finished in matte black and weighs little, so it adds minimal bulk to the firearm. The manufacturer notes that it is intended for shells that are replaced during use rather than stored on the weapon for long periods, since prolonged storage can deform the elastomer and reduce retention. Removing the shells for a few hours allows the elastomer to return to its original shape.
