Description
The Midwest Industries Alpha Mini Dot Mount is a Picatinny-style scope mount that lets you attach a red dot sight to an AK-pattern rifle. It mounts to the factory rear sight of AK-47 and AK-74 rifles, both stamped and milled receivers, and does not require permanent modification to the firearm.
The mount is machined from 6061 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish. It uses steel locking blocks to limit side-to-side movement and includes a built-in iron sight that allows a lower one-third co-witness with many red dots, so a backup sight remains usable. The original rear sight can be reinstalled if desired, and the rifle can still be field stripped.
Minor fitting may be required, and tools are not included.
