The Midwest Industries AK Alpha Series Red Dot Mount is a one-piece Picatinny scope base for AK-platform rifles. It positions a red dot optic above the receiver while leaving the action accessible for field disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication.
The mount attaches to Midwest Industries AK Alpha Series handguards at four points, with two aluminum and two steel stability struts for a rigid lock-up. The components are made from hard coat anodized 6061 aluminum and laser-cut 4140 steel, and the design keeps the factory rear sight usable with a lower one-third co-witness sight picture.
It fits only MI AK Alpha handguards, models ALPHA6 and ALPHA10.0, and is not compatible with other Midwest Industries generations or other manufacturers' handguards. A T2 pattern version is also offered for Aimpoint T2 pattern optics.
