Description
The Midwest Industries AK Alpha Railed Top Cover is a black hardcoat anodized top cover for AK-pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. It mounts on the MI Alpha Series handguard and provides a top rail that lets the user keep the factory rear sight while running a lower 1/3 cowitness sight picture.
The cover uses an adjustable locking block to fit most AK firearms and a recoil spring button made for the Alpha top cover. Its top cover and main stability struts are 6061 aluminum, and two laser-cut 4140 steel struts add support, giving a rigid lockup that keeps dust and dirt out of the receiver. Installation requires no permanent modifications, so the rifle can be returned to stock form.
This top cover is compatible only with MI Alpha Series handguards and is not compatible with other Midwest Industries handguard generations or products from other manufacturers.
