Description
The Midwest Industries G2 Two Piece Gen 2 Drop-In is a 7-inch handguard for AR-15 carbines, designed to replace factory plastic handguards without gunsmithing. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish, and it uses a two-piece design with a drop-in installation procedure matching the original polymer units.
The handguard carries four M1913 Picatinny rails for accessory mounting, with laser-engraved T-marks indicating accessory locations. It is compatible with direct gas and most gas piston operating systems, with the exception of those produced by Osprey Defense. The barrel nut is not included and must be sourced separately. The lower section can be removed to allow use with a grenade launcher or shotgun.
