Description
The Midwest Industries G2 Two-Piece Carbine Free-Float Handguard is a two-piece aluminum rail system for the AR-15 platform, designed to mount accessories while keeping the barrel free from contact with the forend. It fits AR-15 carbine-length guns and installs by clamping onto the factory barrel nut after the delta ring is removed, so the factory barrel nut, barrel, and gas block do not need to be removed.
The forend is machined from 6061 aluminum with a matte black hard coat anodized finish. The rails are Mil-Spec 1913 and T-marked for locating accessories. The top rail is designed to match standard A4 flat-top uppers and provide a continuous rail.
