Description
The Midwest Industries Combat Rifle Sight Set is a flip-up front and rear iron sight kit for AR-15, M16 and M4 rifles. It gives a backup sighting system with the sights stowed low when not in use and raised to standard height when needed.
The steel sight bodies have a black hardcoat anodized finish over a 6061 aluminum base. The front sight uses dual locking detent springs to hold its position, and it folds to a low profile of about 0.437 inches. The rear sight folds to about 0.388 inches and includes an intermediate aperture. Both sights have adjustments, with the front at 1.5 MOA per click and the rear at 0.5 MOA per click for rifle or 0.65 MOA per click for carbine. An A2 front sight tool is included.
