Description
The 12-gauge Charles Daly shotgun manufactured by B.C. Miroku in Kochi, Japan, between 1963 and 1976 represents a high-water mark of Japanese craftsmanship during the mid-20th century. Built as a direct precursor to the famed Browning Citori, these double-barrel and over-and-under shotguns feature tight tolerances, rich walnut furniture, and detailed hand-engraved receivers. Their stellar build quality and nimble handling so impressed Browning that the company later bought out the contract to produce the platform under its own name. While older leaf springs can occasionally prove challenging to source, these vintage 12-gauge field and trap models remain prized by shooters for their heirloom durability and classic performance. This shotgun is in very good condition.
