The Mossberg 940 Pro Turkey is a right-handed, semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun built for turkey hunting in the field. Its receiver is cut for low-profile direct mounting of Shield RMSc-pattern micro dot sights, and a cover plate is included when no optic is fitted.
The gas system is rated for up to 1,500 rounds between cleanings. Internal parts including the gas piston, magazine tube, hammer and sear carry a nickel boron coating for corrosion resistance. The 18.5-inch barrel chambers 3-inch shells, holds 4 rounds, and is topped by a HiViz CompSight fiber optic front sight. The adjustable synthetic stock offers 1.25 inches of length of pull adjustment. The overall length is 39.25 inches and the listed weight is 7.25 pounds.
