Description
The Mossberg 500 Scorpion TALO is a pump-action 12 gauge shotgun built on the Remington 870 platform, configured in a tactical style for home defense, range use and general field applications. It is chambered for 3-inch 12 gauge shells and fitted with an 18.5-inch barrel.
The barrel carries an ATI Heat Shield and a vented rib with a front sight, and the receiver uses a bead sight. A picatinny rail allows mounting of additional accessories. The gun holds 5 rounds, and standard pump-action features include dual extractors, steel-to-steel lockup, twin action bars, an anti-jam elevator and an ambidextrous top-mounted safety. The blued gray finish is paired with an ATI six-position adjustable stock with a 3.87-inch length-of-pull range and an ATI Akita forend.
A Halo side saddle with nine polymer Add-A-Shell repositionable shell holders provides quick access to extra ammunition.
