This brake greatly mitigates both recoil and muzzle rise, and because your sight picture isn’t lost to recoil, the speed and accuracy of follow-up shots is significantly improved. The Rad Fat Man Brake’s porting are at 45-degree angles which vents the expanding gasses up and away from the shooter, this also means that shooting in a prone position won’t kick up any debris after each shot.
