MAC ~ 1950 ~ 9mm

This pre-owned MAC Model 1950 is a historic semi-automatic French military service pistol adopted in 1950. Serving as the primary sidearm for the French Army, Navy, and Air Force, the Model 1950 was intended to replace the mismatched collection of older service weapons such as the 1935A and 1935S. Having around 342,000 units being produced between 1950 and 1978, these pistols saw extensive action globally, spanning the First Indochina War, the Algerian War, the Suez Crisis, and numerous peacekeeping operations. Featuring a 4.5-inch barrel, a single-action, short-recoil operated, locked-breech, and a modular fire control, having the entire hammer and sear assembly is self-contained in a single, easily removable block. This 1950 is in good condition overall. There are some scratches and markings of wear and tear in various areas of the firearm but nothing major and no signs of major damage.
