William Kavanagh of Dublin Sidelock Ejector Light in 12 Gauge. This shotgun has 30-inch Dovetailed barrels with 2 1/2-inch chambers. It is engraved "W. Kavanagh & Sons" on game rib with short extension. The Barrel flats are stamped with Birmingham Nitro proofs for 2 1/2" chambers. It has a Coin finished square back action that is fitted with backspring sidelocks and features automatic safety, pivoting third fastener engaging rib extension and double triggers. The action and locks are engraved with 80% coverage well cut shaded scroll within small scroll borders. The maker's name is on each lockplate. The top lever pivot is relief engraved "KAVANAGH DUBLIN". It has a good quality newly made straight grip buttstock of very fine lightly streaked and well figured European walnut with a slight swan neck and it measures 14 3/8" over checkered wood butt. It has point pattern checkering at the grip. It has a matching splinter Baker ejector forend with an Anson release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .739", L .731".
