Taiyuan Arsenal ~ Shanxi Type 17 ~ .45 Auto

A rare 1980s reproduction collector's piece, this Shanxi Type 17 "Boxcannon" is an upscaled Chinese clone of the classic Mauser C96 Broomhandle, which were beloved and used heavily throughout the the late 1920's and early 1930's during the "Warlord Era". This particular repro, serial number 1444, is designed after the late 1929 production line. The pistol has had some rebluing done to certain portions of the metal and trigger, but maintains its original markings, matching serial numbers, rifling, and wood grips. Included with the pistol is a leather carry holster. Chambered in .45 Auto.
