Original Pre-Ban Norinco AK-47 Type 56S Rifle with original wood furniture. It has a 66 inside a triangle/pyramid marking on the front trunion. Rifle is in very good condition. I would call it excellent, but it has a few minor (and I mean very minor like you have to look really close to see them) dings on the stock and forearm but they in no way detract from the beaty of the rifle. In fact, I wouldn\'t be surprised if it came out of the box that way because perfect furniture was not a Chinese strong point. Perfectly functioning guns were. Man, I love Chinese AKs. there is just something about them. I have had this rifle in the safe for at least 3 decades and as much as I love it, it\'s time to let it go. Guaranteed to function like a new one because other than being at least 30 years old, it virtually is. Bore is pristine. Bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. This particular rifle was imported by Import Arms out of Sacramento California and has a small I.A Sac import stamp on the bottom of the receiver, but it is about the smallest least conspicuous import stamp I have ever seen. Images here are of the actual rifle. Rifle features a bayonet lug and a 45 degree muzzle brake and ships with one 30 round steel magazine. The rifle will ship in a box in heavy bubble wrap for maximum protection. This rifle has been represented here through images and description with 100% accuracy as I know it and if you are not comfortable buying it based on this information Do Not Make the Purchase. All sales are final on this rifle. The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice surplus firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these \"Gun Safe Queens\" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don\'t get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and I\'ve decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me.
