One Horse 16" SOCOM Mid-Length 5.56 NATO 1:8 Twist AR-15 Barrel

One Horse AR-15 Barrel Features The One Horse AR-15 Barrel is machined from 4150 steel in a SOCOM profile a contour that keeps the barrel lighter toward the muzzle while retaining strength near the chamber for durability under sustained fire. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO the barrel carries a 1:8 twist rate that stabilizes a broad range of common bullet weights used in that cartridge. A mid length gas system balances reliable cycling with reduced felt recoil compared to a carbine length system on the same 16 inch barrel length. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts standard AR-15 muzzle devices including brakes flash hiders and suppressor mounts. Built in the USA the barrel is intended as a direct upgrade or replacement for an AR-15 build chambered in 5.56mm NATO. The SOCOM profile strikes a middle ground between a lightweight pencil contour and a heavier bull barrel giving builders a versatile option for both range use and field carry. Because it is threaded at the standard 1/2x28 pitch it integrates easily with the broad aftermarket of muzzle devices already available for the platform. For AR-15 builders looking for a mid length SOCOM profile 5.56 barrel from a domestic manufacturer the One Horse AR-15 Barrel is a solid option for sale at ARMSAGORA.
