Description
The Otis Ripcord Bore Cleaner is a one-pass cleaning tool for 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO rifle bores. It is run through the barrel from breech to muzzle, and its helix-shaped rubber core keeps the cleaning surface pressed against the bore to engage the rifling.
The braided Nomex surface is rated for heat up to 700 degrees F, so it can be used on a hot barrel. The cleaner is 36 inches long and has 10 inches of cleaning surface. It has 8-32 threaded ends, and a bore brush can be attached for a more thorough clean.
