Description
The Otis Technology Pierce Point Jag is a brass cleaning jag for .45 ACP bores. It is designed to hold a cleaning patch centered as it travels through the bore, which helps the patch seat against the rifling for a consistent pass. The pointed tip keeps the patch from bunching or shifting, and the spent patch falls away once the jag exits the muzzle.
The jag has an 8-32 threaded base that attaches to standard 8-32 cleaning rods. Being solid brass rather than steel, it is intended not to scratch the bore or crown. It is compact and lightweight for carrying in a cleaning kit or range bag.
