Description
This Walther P38 pistol is offered in Excellent Condition and includes a leather holster and four magazines. The P38 was adopted by Germany in 1938 to replace the P08 Luger and was the first locked-breech pistol to use a double-action/single-action trigger, which allows it to be carried with a round chambered. It was built by Walther, Mauser, and Spreewerk during WWII, and Walther resumed production for West Germany in 1957. The standard P38 is a semi-automatic chambered in 9x19mm with an 8-round magazine and a 4.9-inch barrel. This example shows a dark finish with some light wear and black ribbed grip panels in good shape. the available specifications do not provide the maker or caliber for this pistol, so please inspect the slide markings in person to confirm maker, date, and chambering. The leather holster and four magazines listed in the firearm record are included. A solid choice for collectors of military sidearms.
