Loosely based on the Russian Saiga-12 and Vepr-12 shotguns, the Panzer Arms AK-Twelve is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and operating on an AK-style platform. The sthogun can handle 3" shells and has an 18 ½" barrel threaded to accept Benelli/Beretta Mobil choke tubes, with a cylinder choke tube already installed. The gun comes with two 5-round magazines, with the ability to accept larger magazines available from Panzer Arms. This model is the Competition-ready model, with an extended lightweight aluminum M-lok handguard for mounting various accessories. The shotgun also has an adjustable gas pistol system for running light- or high-velocity loads. Along with the gas block, an additional action spring is supplied to be used between the piston arm and bolt carrier. Above the gas tube is a fixed rear iron sight and single brass bead front sight. A robust platform, the AK-Twelve is ready to handle anything you throw at it, with a milled trunnion and aluminum receiver. The stock is a black polymer with metal buttplate and the original pistol grip has been swapped for a Zombie Green glowing Hogue rubber pistol grip; the original polymer black grip is included with the shotgun. This Panzer AK-Twelve is in lightly-used condition, with a clean and undamaged barrel and overall good finish and operating condition. The action is easy to manipulate, smooth, and features upgrades to a standard AK-platform, including an extended safety lever and bolt-hold-open button above the trigger guard. This shotgun includes the factory box, two OEM 5-round magazines, additional action spring, and OEM pistol grip.
