The Pelican 1170 Protector is a hard polymer case for transporting and storing a medium to full size handgun. Its polypropylene shell is built to be airtight, watertight, dustproof and crushproof, and it is lightweight for its strength. The case is finished in smooth black and measures 11.64 inches overall.
The case includes a double-throw latch system, an O-ring seal, an automatic pressure-equalization valve, a fold-down handle and two padlock protectors. It is rated IP67 for temporary submersion to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
