Pietta 1858 New Model Army Cylinder .44 Caliber Black Steel

Pietta Cylinder Features The Pietta Cylinder is built specifically to fit the 1858 New Model Army revolver a historically inspired percussion firearm chambered in .44 caliber. Machined from steel the cylinder is designed to handle the repeated pressure of black powder ignition while maintaining proper fit and timing with the revolver s action. A black finish keeps the cylinder s appearance consistent with the rest of the firearm and the component ships with nipples already included saving the owner from sourcing those small parts separately. This completeness means the cylinder is ready to load and fire as soon as it is installed. Owners of the 1858 New Model Army often keep a spare pre-loaded cylinder on hand to speed up reloading between shots a practice rooted in the historical use of cap and ball revolvers. Having an additional cylinder also provides a backup in case the primary cylinder is damaged or needs maintenance keeping the revolver in service without significant downtime. Pietta has built a reputation for faithfully reproducing classic black powder revolvers and their components and this cylinder reflects that same attention to fit and function. For 1858 New Model Army shooters who want a reliable spare or replacement cylinder the Pietta Cylinder is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
