Using the licensed Kalashnikov AK blueprints, Pioneer Arms AK-style firearms are true to the original design. The Sporter series of AK rifles features a 16.3" barrel with 14x1LH thread pitch, a forged front trunnion, Russian pattern furniture compatibility, an enhanced safety selector, and a traditional AK optics side rail. This Model, SKU: PRPOLAKSFT, is chambered in 7.62x39 and comes with the ergonomically designed laminated wood handguards, which feature palm swells for additional grip. This rifle carries a full one-year refund, repair, or replacement warranty through Pioneer Arms U.S.A. In addition, the front trunnion portion of the rifle carries a lifetime warranty that follows the rifle. In other words, even if you are not the original owner, if there is ever an issue regarding the front trunnion - i.e a crack, or a headspace issue, then Pioneer Arms U.S.A. will repair or replace the rifle free of charge. Having said that, we have every confidence that the warranty will never be needed as these new rifles have been test-fired extensively by Pioneer Arms USA upon final compliance inspection.
