This Pioneer Arms Sporter model is a Pioneer Arms x UTG Collaboration TACTICAL Sporter rifle, chambered in 7.62x39. It uses a premium 6061-T6 Aluminum UTG PRO AK Super Slim Drop-In MLOK Handguard, with a 5-position polymer UTG PRO AK Side Folding Stock that features a QD sling mount and integrated rubberized butt pad, and a Phoenix Technologies finger grooved AK pistol grip for comfort. Combining historic Polish firearms manufacturing legacy, with American Made durable and customizable furniture for the 21st century. Using the Licensed Kalashnikov AK blueprints, Pioneer Arms AK-style firearms are based on the original design. The Sporter series of AK rifles feature a 16.3" barrel with 14x1LH thread pitch, a forged front trunnion, an enhanced safety selector, and a traditional AK optics side rail. They fit standard Kalashnikov AKM Spec furniture. This rifle carries a full one-year refund, repair, or replacement warranty through Pioneer Arms U.S.A. In addition, the front trunnion portion of the rifle carries a lifetime warranty that follows the rifle. In other words, even if you are not the original owner, if there is ever an issue regarding the front trunion - i.e a crack, or a headspace issue, then Pioneer Arms U.S.A. will repair or replace the rifle free of charge. Having said that, we have every confidence that the warranty will never be needed as these new rifles have been test-fired extensively by Pioneer Arms USA upon final compliance inspection.
