Pointer Field Tek 12 12 Gauge 28" 5-Round Semi-Auto Shotgun

Pointer Field Tek 12 Features The Pointer Field Tek 12 uses a gas piston operating system paired with a rotating bolt head a combination engineered to reduce felt recoil and muzzle jump compared to simpler blowback or inertia designs which keeps the shooter on target for faster follow-up shots on crossing birds. The chrome moly-lined barrel resists corrosion and fouling extending the barrel s service life through repeated hunting seasons and range sessions of heavy shell use. An oversized bolt handle makes manipulating the action easier when wearing gloves during cold-weather hunts so the gun stays fast to load and clear even in poor conditions. The vented rib and fiber optic front sight combine to give shooters a fast easy-to-track sight picture on crossing birds or clay targets aiding quick target acquisition when birds flush unexpectedly. Finished with a silver anodized receiver and 28 inch barrel set against a Turkish walnut stock the Field Tek 12 presents a classic field gun appearance while incorporating modern semi-auto reliability that today s hunters expect. The stock s cross-bolt safety provides simple intuitive operation in the field letting a shooter disengage it quickly without shifting grip when a covey flushes. A rubber recoil pad helps absorb felt recoil over a long day of shooting reducing fatigue on extended dove or clays outings. Five extended choke tubes ranging from cylinder through full let shooters tailor their pattern to the game or target at hand from close-flushing quail to longer crossing clays. At 8.83 pounds the Field Tek 12 carries comfortably afield while providing the reliability hunters expect from a quality semi-auto shotgun making it a versatile choice for both the uplands and the clays course.
