The rear round porting does not go all the way around the brake body only 180 degrees. This reduces dust blasting on proned out shooting. This is one of the quietest muzzle brakes made great for hunting or bench shooting. Made with 1.000in OD 416 stainless steel. Note: Should be gunsmith or advanced hobbyist installed using a lathe to adjust timing (clocking) and for final boring +.020 to .050 over the bullet diameter. Material is allowed for final OD turning to a minimum of .980 diameter tapering at the rear and bead blasting if desired. The minimum .980 diameter is necessary because of the very tall slotted baffles that contribute to this brake"s overall effectiveness.
