Description
The Ruger Radial Port Muzzle Brake is a muzzle device for AR-15 platform rifles chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO. Its radial port design is intended to reduce felt recoil and muzzle movement during firing.
The brake is machined from alloy steel with a black oxide finish and has a 1/2"-28 thread pitch. It measures 1.75 inches overall in length. Installation requires an 11/16 inch open-end or crescent wrench, and the manufacturer specifies torque of 15 to 20 ft-lbs. No crush washers are required.
It fits AR-556 rifles and other .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO firearms with 1/2"-28 muzzle threads.
