Description

The Primary Weapon Systems MK1 Mod 2-M is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle chambered in 223 Wylde and 5.56x45mm NATO, built for shooters who want a piston-operated platform with a permanently mounted muzzle device.

The 14.5-inch barrel carries a pinned and welded FSC 556 muzzle device for an overall length of 16 inches. The upper uses a long-stroke piston system with a three-position adjustable gas block and a mid-length gas system, paired with a 1:8 twist barrel. The 7075-T651 hard-anodized lower and 30-round capacity complete the rifle, which weighs 6.7 pounds.

The PicLok 13.574-inch handguard offers a 1.7-inch-wide, 2.25-inch-tall rail surface for accessories. The mil-spec enhanced PTFE-coated trigger breaks at 5.5 to 6.5 pounds. The lower includes a 1.2-inch enhanced buffer tube with a QD sling mount, and the buttstock and grip are Bravo Company furniture.
