The Pro-Shot Micro-Polished pistol cleaning rod is a one-piece stainless steel rod for cleaning pistol bores 22 caliber and up. It is intended for use with bore brushes, patch holders and other threaded cleaning accessories.

The rod is 8 inches of working length and is made from stainless steel, which resists the chemical action of bore solvents and does not coat or deteriorate like some coated or aluminum rods. It uses precision 8-32 threading for a secure, wobble-free connection to rod tip accessories, and the rod rotates in its handle so a bore brush can follow the rifling. The stated length is the working length; add 4 inches for the handle.

The 8-32 thread accepts major American cleaning rod accessories. The rod ships packaged in a tube for storage. Per the retailer, cleaning rods in .27 caliber and up include a patch holder and AD2 adaptor.
