Proof Research Ascension 7mm PRC 22" Green Jungle Bolt Action Rifle

Proof Research Ascension Features The Proof Research Ascension pairs a world-class titanium receiver from Zermatt Arms with a PROOF patented carbon fiber-wrapped Sendero contour barrel cutting weight without sacrificing the rigidity long-range accuracy demands. Chambered in 7mm PRC with a 1-in-8 twist rate the barrel is matched to the heavier high ballistic coefficient bullets favored for extended range hunting and shooting. A TriggerTech trigger delivers a light consistent break letting the shooter take full advantage of the rifle s sub half MOA accuracy guarantee. Extreme-accuracy bedding ties the action to the stock precisely ensuring repeatable performance shot after shot in the field. The carbon fiber Ascension stock takes a timeless Monte Carlo design to the next level with a higher comb and grip that come together for an especially comfortable fit under recoil. Finished in Green Jungle camo the stock is built to blend into dense cover on high-country hunts while standing up to rough handling on the mountain. The threaded 5/8-24 muzzle ships with a thread protector keeping the rifle ready for a suppressor when the hunt calls for it. Weighing just 6 lbs 4 oz the Ascension gives hunters a rifle light enough to carry all day without compromising the accuracy needed for a clean ethical shot.
