Proof Research Elevation 2.0 7mm Backcountry 20" Threaded Bolt-Action Rifle

Proof Research Elevation 2.0 Features The Proof Research Elevation 2.0 is built around a Sendero contour carbon fiber wrapped match-grade barrel chambered in 7mm Backcountry offering hunters a lightweight rifle without giving up long-range accuracy. The 1:8 twist rate stabilizes the cartridge s heavier-for-caliber bullet weights keeping downrange energy and consistency high as range increases. The threaded 5/8x24 muzzle ships with a thread protector ready for a suppressor or brake when needed so hunters can configure the rifle for quieter shooting or reduced recoil without a gunsmith. The Zermatt Arms Origin action pairs with a Hawkins Precision BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal for smooth dependable feeding in the field an important detail when a second shot has to happen fast. A TriggerTech trigger delivers a crisp consistent break that helps shooters extract the barrel s full accuracy potential letting the rifle s inherent precision translate directly to hits at distance. A black carbon fiber stock keeps the rifle s overall weight manageable at 6 lbs 8 oz ideal for hunters covering long distances on foot in mountain or backcountry terrain. The carbon fiber construction also resists the swelling warping and impact damage that can plague a traditional wood or lower-grade synthetic stock holding zero through rough handling and weather. A single-piece pinned rail atop the receiver provides a stable mounting surface for a hunting optic simplifying setup and keeping the scope securely aligned shot after shot. A modified ball bolt knob gives a comfortable secure grip during bolt manipulation even with gloved hands in cold-weather hunting conditions. Finished in matte black the rifle presents a clean understated look suited to any hunting environment from open plains to timbered ridgelines. Backed by Proof s sub-MOA accuracy guarantee this rifle offers a premium lightweight option for hunters chasing game at extended range who refuse to compromise on either weight or precision.
