Proof Research Sendero Carbon 6.5 Creedmoor 18 in 1:7.5 Threaded Rifle Barrel

Proof Research Sendero Barrel Features The Proof Research Sendero Barrel is built as a pre-fit drop-in component for Lone Peak Arms actions simplifying the barrel-swap process for builders who want to avoid custom gunsmithing. Its carbon fiber construction wraps a precision steel liner reducing weight at the front of the rifle while helping the barrel dissipate heat more effectively during sustained shooting. The 1:7.5 twist rate is well matched to the heavier bullet weights favored in long-range 6.5 Creedmoor shooting giving handloaders and factory ammunition shooters alike a stable platform for extended-range work. Five-groove rifling supports the kind of consistent repeatable accuracy precision shooters expect from a Proof Research barrel round after round without the throat wear that drives heavier steel barrels to degrade sooner. At 18 inches the Sendero profile balances barrel rigidity with portability for rifles built around maneuverability as well as accuracy making it a strong choice for hunters and long-range shooters who carry their rifle over distance. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor giving shooters the flexibility to tune recoil and sound to their setup whether that means a competition brake for fast follow-up shots or a suppressor for hearing protection and reduced signature. Because this barrel is designed specifically as a drop-in fit builders can expect a straightforward installation without extensive fitting work saving both time and gunsmithing cost compared to a traditional chambered barrel swap. For Lone Peak Arms owners seeking a proven lightweight upgrade the Proof Research Sendero Barrel offers a direct path to improved accuracy and reduced weight backed by Proof Research s reputation for carbon fiber barrel construction in the precision rifle market.
