Proof Research Tundra 300 PRC 22" Bolt Action Rifle 3-Round

Proof Research Tundra Features The Proof Research Tundra centers on a carbon fiber wrapped barrel that sheds the weight of a traditional steel profile while retaining the stiffness and heat management needed for consistent accuracy. Cut with a 1-in-9 twist rate over 22 inches the barrel is matched to heavier .300 PRC projectiles that hold their trajectory at extended range. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle brake giving hunters the option to manage recoil or reduce signature on long sits. The bolt action platform feeds from a 3-round magazine enough capacity for most big game hunting scenarios without adding bulk to the rifle. The Black Jungle Tundra stock is built from carbon fiber a material chosen for its rigidity and its ability to shave pounds off the overall package compared to a wood or standard synthetic stock. That weight savings matters most on long hikes into backcountry hunting terrain where every ounce carried affects endurance and shot steadiness at the end of a long day. Finished in black throughout the rifle presents a clean purpose-built look that matches its purpose-built performance. At 8 lbs 2 oz the Proof Research Tundra gives hunters a rifle light enough for mountain hunts and accurate enough for the longest shots those hunts demand.
