Proof Research Tundra 300 PRC 22" Threaded Barrel 3-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Proof Research Tundra Features The Proof Research Tundra is chambered in .300 PRC a cartridge built to deliver flat trajectories and retained energy at the long ranges serious hunters and precision shooters demand. The 22 barrel is cut with a 1-in-9 twist rate to stabilize the heavier high ballistic coefficient bullets this cartridge is designed to shoot well. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle gives the shooter the option to add a suppressor or muzzle brake helping manage recoil from a magnum round without sacrificing accuracy. The bolt action design and 3-round capacity keep the rifle simple and reliable for hunting scenarios where a fast follow-up shot matters less than a precise first one. Proof Research is known for its carbon fiber barrels and the Tundra Series carries that lightweight philosophy into the stock as well with the Green Jungle Tundra stock built from carbon fiber to cut unnecessary weight. At 8 lbs 2 oz the rifle stays light enough to carry comfortably across long distances in the backcountry without becoming unwieldy when it s time to shoot. The black finish gives the rifle a clean understated look that pairs well in any hunting environment. Built for hunters and long-range shooters who want to shed weight without giving up accuracy the Proof Research Tundra in .300 PRC is a purpose-built mountain rifle ready for serious distance work.
