Description
Retaining the 30 mm tube design for convenient mounting, the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF 60 line comes with several major updates.
Most important are the new optics, designed specifically for long-range applications. The 60-mm focal length offers enhanced optical parameters which translates into better image quality, higher image detail, improved detection capabilities at longer ranges, and a higher base magnification than in previous models.
Pulsar also upgraded the eyepiece optics. The wide-angle design is specifically optimized for use with high-resolution micro-displays and allows for exceptional viewing comfort through an 8 mm exit pupil, giving the hunter enhanced situational awareness and field control.
The new eyepiece optics have enabled Pulsar to achieve best-in-class 65 mm eye relief. Along with enhanced screen visualization, this ensures the shooter’s safety with higher-caliber ammunition and familiar riflescope positioning resembling that of conventional daytime optics.
he Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF 60 line comes in three models: the Thermion 2 LRF XL60, the Thermion 2 LRF XG60, and the Thermion 2 LRF XP60. Here’s how they compare.
With its solid 4x base magnification, the Thermion 2 LRF XG60 is the best option for long-range shooting precision. It’s ideal for hunting coyotes and foxing with a highly informative image even when magnified x 32 times.
For hunting in harsher weather conditions, Thermion 2 LRF XP60 has the highest sensitivity, which is ideal for low visibility. With its <25 mK NETD, you’ll spot the smallest details, even in humid conditions.
And for all-around versatility, the Thermion 2 LRF XL60 with its HD resolution sensor performs well on targets big and small, near and far. 2.5x base magnification and 11.7 ° field of view make this model as powerful and convenient as possible.
