Description

The Sugar Weasel is a premium AR-15-pattern rifle designed by suppressor manufacturer Q with suppressed use in mind. The rifle has a 16" barrel with 1:7 twist rate, carbine gas system with adjustable gas block, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and tipped with a Q Cherry Bomb muzzle brake/suppressor mount. The receiver has no forward assist and is clear-anodized and cerakoted in a unique colored finish with matte grey cerakoted handguard. The rifle is outfitted in a host of different premium parts for improved ergonomics and an iconic profile against other AR-15s: a Reptilia CQG pistol grip; Magpul MOE trigger guard, dust cover, and extended magazine release; Magpul SL-K 4-position collapsible buttstock with rubber buttpad; Q-exclusive Radian Raptor HB ambidextrous charging handle and 70-degree Talon ambidextrous safety. The rifle also has Q's premium trigger installed: "Literally The Best Trigger Ever Made," the trigger is a two-stage non-adjustable trigger with flat-face trigger and a 3-lb pull weight. The trigger is notable for its very short but light reset. The rifle has a 14 ¾" proprietary free-floating M-lok handguard for attaching accessories. This Sugar Weasel is also topped with a Sig Sauer Tango-MSR 1-10x28mm LPVO with second focal plane design, red-illuminated reticle with Omega-shaped center and simplified Christmas tree-style ballistic reticle. The scope includes flip-up scope caps and throw lever and is mounted in a single-piece Sig Sauer cantilever mount. Unique to the Q AR-pattern rifles is their two-piece bolt carrier group which has a nitrided stainless steel front half with mil-spec bolt, gas key, and cam pin and designed to prevent bolt-bounce; the rear section is heat-treated stainless steel and holds the firing pin in place, rather than using a traditional retaining pin. This rifle is in excellent condition and appears to have been shot only once or twice for function and zeroing; otherwise, there seems to be little wear on the rifle. The handguard does have some wear on the bottom where it looks like the previous owner had some trouble adding or removing attachments. But, the slots still operate as designed. This rifle does not include a case, box, or any magazines.
