Description
The Real Avid Smart-Fit Vise Block is a gunsmithing fixture that holds an AR-15 lower receiver steady in a bench vise by expanding inside the magazine well. Magwell dimensions vary across manufacturers, so the block includes an adjustment handle that tightens the fit to reduce wobble while you work.
The block is made of steel with a rubber overmold. It is gray and is listed for AR-15 platforms. A separate AR-10 adapter sleeve is included for AR-10 lower receivers with MIL-SPEC magwells, DPMS LR-308 and SR-25 receivers. The block can also be used inverted to reach the grip area or the underside of the lower.
