Lucas Oil Extreme Duty Gun Oil 8 oz Liquid

Lucas Extreme Duty Gun Oil is a liquid lubricant blended from oil and petroleum-extracted additives, formulated for firearms that run high round counts and generate high heat and friction. It is intended for semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and pistols, as well as full-auto firearms, suppressors and NFA items.

According to the product description, the oil resists burn-off and forms a polymeric film that protects metal from rust and moisture and reduces wear. It is also described as neutralizing acids from fingerprints and resisting drying during long-term storage. Applications include bores, bolt carriers and gas pistons, where it is said to ease removal of powder residue, copper and carbon fouling. A light coat on suppressor baffles and mounts is recommended to limit carbon buildup.

The package is an 8 oz liquid bottle.
