Real Avid Lug-Lok AR-15 Upper Receiver Vise Block

The Real Avid Lug-Lok is a gunsmithing vise block for AR-15 upper receivers. Rather than clamping the upper's exterior, it holds the upper by inserting an aluminum rod through the receiver and seating precision-milled lugs in the star chamber, which is intended to keep external pressure off the receiver during work such as loosening a barrel nut or removing a suppressor.

The block is machined from satin silver aluminum, described as non-marring, and mounts in a standard bench vise at whatever angle the work requires. A lock knob holds the upper in position while in use.
