The Model 03-A3 was made by Remington Arms Company for the Second World War based on the Springfield Model 1903. These rifles were produced from late 1941 through 1944. This model was manufactured in October 1943 based on the serial, it is confirmed with the Ordnance stamp marked RA & 9-43 on the barrel.
