The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood with a storage compartment. The forearm is a smooth grip, two-piece hardwood. Serial Number 3547399. Barrel is arsenal stamped with an R A and dated 3-43. The 03-A3 were produced during WWII to arm the rapidly expanding armed forces. It has subtle variations from the original Model 03 to reduce costs and increase production.
