Description
The Remington Core-Lokt 45-70 Government 405 grain soft point is a centerfire rifle cartridge loaded for hunting. It uses the Core-Lokt bullet design, with a progressively tapered copper jacket locked to a solid lead core to control expansion and retain weight on impact.
This load is built around a 405 grain bullet with a rated muzzle velocity of 1330 fps and muzzle energy of 1590 ft-lbs. The cartridge has a brass case and is sold in boxes of 20 rounds, with 10 boxes per case.
The cartridge is chambered for the 45-70 Government, so it is intended for rifles chambered in that caliber.
